Baby Rosie: A Journey Through Love and Milestones

As a photographer, few things bring me more joy than documenting the special moments in my clients' lives. But when the subject is my own sister and her growing family, the experience becomes even more meaningful. My sister, Hannah, and her husband, Hector, recently welcomed their beautiful daughter, Rosie, and I had the privilege of capturing every step of this incredible journey. From the pregnancy announcement to maternity photos and, finally, newborn portraits, each session was a celebration of love, anticipation, and pure joy.

The Pregnancy Announcement

Hannah and Hector wanted their pregnancy announcement to be as unique and fun as their relationship. Together, we brainstormed ideas, and eventually, I created personalized newspapers to share the exciting news of baby Garza’s arrival. Each headline was crafted with care, celebrating their growing family with playful and heartfelt details. Watching their excitement as they revealed the big news to friends and family was priceless, and the creative process made it all the more special.

Maternity Session at Bridgeview Studios

At 35 weeks, Hannah came into my studio, Bridgeview Studios, for her maternity photoshoot. She envisioned something classy yet comfortable, and I was thrilled to help her bring that vision to life. Together, we found the perfect dress that complemented her glowing beauty and highlighted the magic of this moment in her life. The session was filled with laughter and love, and the photos reflect the anticipation and joy of soon becoming parents. It was a privilege to capture her strength and elegance during this special time.

And then came Rosie. Perfect in every way, this little one stole my heart immediately. At just three weeks old, Rosie already had a big personality that shone through in every shot. Her tiny fingers, button nose, and curious eyes made for the most precious photos. I’ll never forget the warmth and love in the room as we captured these first moments of Rosie’s life. These images are more than just photographs; they are memories of a fleeting time that will be cherished forever.
