My Favorite Locations for Senior Sessions Near Green Bay, WI

One of the best parts of planning a senior session is choosing the perfect location. Every spot has its own personality—whether you’re looking for something natural, modern, rustic, or timeless, there’s a place that can match your style. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to photograph seniors in some of the most beautiful places around Green Bay and beyond, and I want to share a few of my favorites with you.

Green Bay Botanical Gardens

If you love flowers, greenery, and winding paths, the Botanical Gardens are a dream. No matter the season, there’s always something blooming, and the variety of backdrops makes every session unique.

Fonferek's Glen (Green Bay)

For seniors who want something a little more adventurous, Fonferek Glen is stunning. With waterfalls, rock formations, and tall grass fields, it offers both drama and natural beauty.

Kohler-Andrae State Park (Sheboygan, WI)

This location is perfect if you love sandy dunes, boardwalks, and wide-open lake views. Sunset sessions here are especially magical, with golden light reflecting off Lake Michigan.

The American Club (Kohler, WI)

Classic architecture and beautifully manicured gardens make The American Club a more upscale option. It’s timeless, elegant, and perfect if you’re going for a polished look. My favorite part of this location is the gorgeous greenhouse coffee shop!

Downtown Green Bay

Urban vibes with brick walls, murals, alleyways, and city views—downtown is great for seniors who want a modern and fun backdrop. You can mix casual outfits with pops of city color to make your personality shine.

Memorial Park (Appleton)

This park has gorgeous gardens, a weeping willow, and walking paths. It feels peaceful and has so many versatile areas for photos.

Crossroads at Big Creek (Sturgeon Bay)

One of my favorite spots for wildflowers, tall grasses, and wooded trails. It has a little bit of everything nature lovers could ask for!

Whitefish Dunes (Door County)

The beach here is perfect for a relaxed, natural feel. The sunset is unbeatable, and the dunes add texture and variety.

High Cliff State Park (Appleton)

This is another favorite for nature sessions. The cliffs, woods, and views overlooking Lake Winnebago make it feel like you’ve traveled far away—even though it’s just a short drive.

Pamperin Park (Green Bay)

Stone bridge, winding trails, and tall trees areas make Pamperin Park a classic choice. It’s especially pretty in the fall when the trees are bursting with color.

Sports, Hobbies, and Personal Touches

One of the best ways to make your senior photos truly you is to include your favorite activities. If you play a sport, your school’s football field, gym, or track can be an amazing backdrop. We can also incorporate uniform or equipment.

Not into sports? No problem! Bring along your guitar, paintbrushes, books, or even your car to showcase what makes your senior year special. These personal touches add so much personality to your gallery and help tell your story.

Other Great Spots Near Green Bay

If you’re still looking for more ideas, here are a few hidden gems and underrated locations:

Voyageur Park (De Pere): Overlooks the Fox River and has plenty of open space with great natural light.

Every senior is unique, and the best part of my job is helping you find a location that fits your personality and vision. Whether you’re drawn to city streets, sandy beaches, or wildflower fields, there’s a perfect backdrop waiting for your senior photos.
