From the moment I stepped into Gather at Deer District—a stunning venue located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee near the Fiserv Forum—I knew this day would be something special. The tall windows let in the most beautiful natural light, and the vibrant spring florals brought the space to life. Keanna and Tyler’s wedding day was a joyful celebration full of emotion, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Getting Ready Moments
The day began at the girls’ hotel suite, where excitement filled the air. Keanna and her bridesmaids were singing, laughing, and sipping mimosas while the talented hair and makeup team put the finishing touches on everyone’s look. I always love starting the day with wedding detail photos, and this day was no exception. Keanna’s shoes? Absolute showstoppers!
A Private First Look and Vow Reading at Gather
Before the ceremony, Keanna met Tyler for a quiet and emotional first look at the venue. They exchanged private vows, soaking in a few precious moments together before the whirlwind of the day began. This intimate time was a true reflection of their love—calm, genuine, and deeply connected.
A Beautiful Ceremony with a Cheering Crowd
The ceremony was heartfelt and meaningful, with personal readings from family and friends. But my favorite part? The grand processional moment when Tyler picked up his new bride and kissed her in front of their cheering guests—it was such a fun and unforgettable touch that truly captured their personalities.
Bridal Party Portraits
After the ceremony and family photos, we headed to one of Milwaukee’s most iconic photo locations—the Milwaukee Public Library. The grand staircase and elegant architecture created a timeless backdrop for both bridal party portraits and romantic newlywed moments. Keanna and Tyler absolutely glowed.

Even though it was pouring during dinner with thunder and lightning putting on a real show, the rain stopped just in time for us to sneak outside for some sunset portraits. The clouds parted, the light was perfect, and it ended up being such a beautiful moment—totally worth the wait!
A Lively Reception and Dance-Filled Celebration
Back at Gather, the reception kicked off with a grand march and a mix of hilarious and heartfelt speeches. Then came the first dance—beautiful and emotional—and before long, the dance floor was packed with guests celebrating the newlyweds late into the night.
