There’s something truly magical about photographing a wedding steeped in tradition, and Sam and Miranda’s special day was no exception. Held on June 1, 2024, their celebration in Green Bay was a perfect blend of elegance, emotion, and joyous celebration.
The day began with overcast skies, and a gentle drizzle graced the morning. Far from dampening spirits, the weather brought a romantic touch to the day, creating the perfect backdrop for Sam and Miranda’s classic and beautiful wedding. As I arrived at the stunning Cathedral of Green Bay, I couldn’t help but marvel at its incredible architecture. It was the ideal setting for such a traditional and heartfelt ceremony.

Getting Ready/A Touching First Look
Sam & Miranda both arrived to the Green Bay Cathedral in high spirits. Miranda had her mom and maid of honor assist her in getting dressed and then surprised her bridesmaids and future mother in law with a first look. One of the most moving moments of the day was Miranda’s first look with her father. As she approached him in her breathtaking gown, emotions overflowed, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room—including mine behind the camera. Capturing those raw and genuine moments is why I love what I do.
The Ceremony
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Sam and Miranda exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic ceremony. The grandeur of the cathedral added to the significance of the moment, with its soaring ceilings and intricate details providing a timeless ambiance. Witnessing their love and joy as they became husband and wife was truly special.
Portraits in Green Isle Park
After the ceremony, we took a couple portraits outside of the cathedral and then we made our way to Green Isle Park for more. Despite the overcast weather, the soft lighting made for some of the most dreamy and romantic photos. Sam and Miranda’s happiness was contagious, and their chemistry shone through in every shot. The lush greenery of the park perfectly complemented their wedding colors, adding a natural elegance to their portraits.

A Reception Full of Joy
The reception was held at The Ravine, a warm and inviting venue that set the stage for an evening of celebration. One of the standout moments was Miranda’s upbeat father-daughter dance. It was a delightful surprise that brought laughter and cheers from everyone in attendance. Afterward, the dance floor came alive as guests joined in to celebrate alongside the happy couple.
