Some weddings stay with you forever, and Karena and Bryce’s special day in Shawano, WI, is one I won’t soon forget. It was a celebration of love, family, and joy—all set against a backdrop of historical charm and dreamy weather that added its own magic to the day.

Getting Ready: A Sentimental Start

The day began with Karena and Bryce getting ready at separate Airbnbs, surrounded by their respective bridal parties and parents. Karena was a vision of elegance and sentimentality, wearing a robe adorned with appliqués from her mother’s wedding dress. To complete her bridal look, she applied her signature scent, Daisy by Marc Jacobs. The morning was filled with love and family—her mother helped zip her into her gown, and her sister carefully slipped on her shoes.

Meanwhile, Bryce and his groomsmen were a lively crew, full of laughter and camaraderie. Bryce surprised his groomsmen with a unique and memorable gift—throwing axes—setting a fun and adventurous tone for the day. Once everyone was dressed and ready, we headed to Heritage Park for Bryce and Karena’s first look. This historic park, with its lush greenery and charming buildings, was the perfect setting. After family photos, we made our way to Stubborn Brothers Brewery, where the reception decor perfectly complemented the natural greenery theme of the day. As the couple shared their first dance, the room was filled with love and celebration.

Then came a moment none of us could have planned. Guests began pointing out the window, and to our astonishment, a gorgeous rainbow arched right over the venue. I quickly whisked Karena and Bryce outside for some unforgettable sunset portraits beneath the rainbow. It was as if the universe was celebrating their love alongside us.
