A Rainy, Dreamy Downtown Session
One of my absolute favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to capture love stories in all their different stages. And while I, unfortunately, am not available to capture Aiden & Bella’s big day, I was beyond thrilled to be able to document this special engagement session for them!
The Vibe & Locations
When Aiden & Bella told me they wanted an editorial, classy feel for their engagement photos, I knew Downtown Green Bay would be the perfect spot. It has the most stunning architecture, and even though the rain decided to join us that day, it honestly just added to the magic. Moody skies, city lights reflecting off wet pavement—it was giving total romance-movie energy. I always keep my clear umbrellas in my car just to be safe!
We started off in front of some of the most gorgeous buildings downtown, including the historic downtown YMCA and the courthouse. These spots brought the perfect blend of sophistication and timeless charm to their session. The rain had this way of making every shot feel even more cinematic, and Aiden & Bella totally leaned into it—think soft, stolen kisses and warm embraces as the city bustled around them.
Rooftop Magic
After capturing all the elegant city vibes, we headed up to a rooftop for the final part of their session. The clouds started to break just in time for the dreamiest golden-hour glow. Aiden & Bella danced, laughed, and fully soaked in the moment (quite literally, thanks to the rain). The mix of urban scenery and that soft sunset light made for some absolutely stunning shots.
