Jimmy & Brooke’s Downtown Milwaukee Engagement Session
From the second Brooke reached out and told me her vision for this shoot, I was already obsessed. I’m based in Green Bay, but give me any excuse to shoot in Downtown Milwaukee, and I’m there in a heartbeat. The mix of stunning architecture, city vibes, and that golden-hour glow? Perfection.
The BEGINNING
Brooke and Jimmy showed up looking so sharp—Jimmy in a classic suit and Brooke in the most adorable white dress. This combo is hands-down one of my favorites for engagement shoots. It’s timeless, chic, and popped beautifully against the bustling city backdrop.
We kicked things off in front of the Milwaukee Art Museum, taking in the clean lines and modern feel of the space. Then, we wandered through downtown, chasing beautiful backdrops and soaking in the city’s energy. But the real magic happened when we made it to one of my favorite locations—the Milwaukee Federal Building. If you’ve never seen it, picture grand pillars, intricate arches, and pure architectural chef’s kiss moments. It’s a dream spot for photos!
Grand Finale!
And then... the grand finale. Brooke’s aunt just so happens to own the coolest vintage convertible, so we had her park it on top of a parking garage for some dreamy sunset portraits overlooking the city. The combo of the classic car, the golden sky, and these two looking like actual movie stars? Unreal.
